Currently, we are looking for a rock solid Senior Software Engineer in Test.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in building new and optimizing existing applications (requiring high efficiency and resistant to failures)
  • Improving automated test coverage (unit/ integration/ user acceptance tests, end-to-end, GUI, etc.)
  • Operating in an agile software delivery methodology focused on testing new features within an iteration and providing near-immediate feedback to engineers through test automation
  • Cooperating with developers to design and develop tools to assist in continuous development initiatives
  • Contributing to and helping with maintaining the testing framework for various types of testing (functional, load/performance, security)
  • Resolving technically advanced problems
  • Keeping up to date with modern technologies
  • Creating technical documentation

Your profile:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in test automation scripts
  • Good experience with Python and/or JavaScript
  • Understanding of the REST architectural style and how it relates to the HTTP protocol
  • Experience with build and dependency management tools (Make, Npm)
  • Familiarity with Agile development process (Scrum, TDD) and comfort in using the CI approach
  • Possess an out-of-the-box and creative thinking approach to projects and problems
  • Experience in working with Unix/Linux environment
  • Very good English language skills (verbal and written)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with web servers (e.g. Apache HTTPd, NGINX, Node.js)
  • Knowledge of client-side, browser-related technologies and techniques (HTML5, CSS and JavaScript) related to compatibility, performance and security
  • Experience with test tools (Selenium, Webdriver)
  • Experience with continuous integration and build tools (i.e CircleCI, Jenkins)
  • Experience with performance testing tools
  • Knowledge of proxy tools (BrowserMob, Charles, Fiddler, Httpwatch)
  • Experience with data analytics platforms (Sentry, NewRelic, SumoLogic, Splunk, etc)
