Currently, we are looking for a rock solid Software Engineer. We need someone with professional, hands-on experience in developing high trafficked Web based applications in a fast paced, business changing environment

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality code and improving automated test coverage
  • Analyzing technical challenges encountered by the team and suggesting viable solutions
  • Providing support for less experienced engineers
  • Keeping up to date with modern software development technologies and sharing the knowledge with other team members

Your profile:

  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience in building and delivering scalable, efficient software solutions with Java/ Scala/ C#/ C++/ PHP
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent professional experience combined with a Bachelor’s degree
  • Working knowledge of at least one major app framework
  • Knack for algorithms and optimization
  • Understanding of the REST architectural style and how it relates to the HTTP protocol
  • Curiosity, desire to learn and proactivity in finding solutions and improving the quality of work
  • Good command of English (we work directly with colleagues around the World)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with web servers (e.g. Apache HTTPd, NGINX, Apache Tomcat, Jetty, JBoss)
  • Knowledge of client-side, browser-related technologies and techniques (HTML5, CSS and JavaScript) related to compatibility, performance and security
  • Working knowledge of various open source web APIs, libraries and frameworks (e.g. JQuery, Angular, ReactJS, backbone.js, Jasmine, Buster.js, etc.)
