Junior Systems Engineer - Cloud

Currently, we are looking for a rock solid Junior Systems Engineer - Cloud. As a Junior Systems Engineer, you will be a part of a top-line Cloud engineering team, building Cloud infrastructure for hundreds of workloads reaching millions of end-users globally. Your main goal will be to work together with your colleagues to craft resilient solutions optimized to run in a cloud. Responsibilities:

  • Help implementing and improving Cloud based solutions that are used to host web-based technologies like LAMP, Java, NodeJS, etc.
  • Assist in developing resilient Cloud based high-available solutions that account for failures within the technology stack, region and across various providers
  • Work with the Cloud engineering team on developing standard and re-usable orchestration modules (Puppet or Chef) with a goal to reduce implementation time
  • Evaluate new technologies and develop documentation and standards for future use
  • Work with the development teams on the solutions fitting their requirements

Your profile:

  • First practical experience with Linux administration
  • Basic experience with Bash scripting
  • Basic experience with at least one higher level scripting language (Python, Ruby, Perl)
  • Knowledge of containers, virtualization, networking
  • Desire to learn and quickly become a self-reliant systems engineer
  • Good communication skills
  • Spoken English at communicative level (we work directly with colleagues around the World)
